Update on the Andrus boys!!

Here is the latest on the Andrus boys...

Starting with the oldest:

We took Recklly in for a CT on tues. and GOOD NEWS the clots are alot smaller!! They are still there, so we have him on blood thinner shots for another 3 months. He is doing WONDERFUL and the dr. said everything is going great!!

The younger brother Boland:

I went in for a checkup last week and everything is GREAT!! We just have another 7 weeks to go!!

Wow it has been a month!!!

It has been a month since Recklly came home from the Primary Childrens, and he is doing WONDERFUL!!

We have him on 2 shots of blood thinner a day and he seems to be doing really well. We find out in May if the blood clots are gone or if we have to continue the shots for another 3 months.

I found the pictures of our 11 days in Primary Childrens Hospital.

We were in the PICU for 5 days and the first few this is what he did...

He just slept or watched movies, when he was not getting CT scans or an MRI.

The sweet nurse put a Band-Aid on his head because he had a headache and it seemed to help it feel better ( with a little Tylenol ).

After 5 days in PICU we were able to keep his blood as thin as it needed to be and they moved him to the Neuro unit.

The first day in the Neuro unit he was able to have a bath.... Which he was not happy about!!

And he also got a blood transfusion. Which helped a TON!! We was able to get some color back in his skin and set up and was able to get back to his silly self!!

When we went to the Neuro unit they let us take him on walks around the unit.

This was his FAVORITE picture, we had to stop and look at it EVERY time we walked by it.

More movies..... that is all we did while he was in the hopital.

He was SO excited to go home that he feel asleep a few min after we got him out of the hospital.

It took him a few days to walk by himself because he was tied down to iv's for 11 days , but before we knew it he was all over the house!! Back to being the silly boy we love!!

A look back on what Andrus' have been up to....

Well since it have been a while, lets take a look at what we have been up to..
We found out that we are going to have a baby!! The due date is July 4th and and we find out what it is on Feb 19th!! We will keep you all posted!! So far everything is going GREAT!!
